Silky Smooth Nutritious Lip Balm

Silky Smooth Nutritious Lip Balm

Create your own silky smooth, eco-friendly, nutritious lip balm in just a few easy steps

Here's what you need to make Lip Balm:

  • 2 tablespoons of beeswax
  • 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
  •  2 tablespoons of shea butter
  • Container you intend to use for lip balm

  1. Use a small pan on low heat to melt beeswax
  2. Once beeswax has melted, add in the other ingredients and mix together until smooth
  3. Pour into the container you are going to keep balm in
  4. Once the balm has cooled, it is ready for use.

Ingredients notes

Beeswax is a natural protectant that can guard against chapping, while coconut oil soothes and comforts dry lips. Shea butter moisturises, heals and improves the overall appearance of lips.

Packaging notes

If you prefer your lip balm in traditional lip balm containers, you will need to use an eyedropper to transport the liquid into the containers while still warm. Keep in mind that once your balm has cooled it will shrink, so fill the containers right to the top. Keep the bottles of your old lip balms, this way you can reuse them instead of having to buy new containers.
