10 Natural Beauty Tips

One of the most important things to understand about the way we live is that the way we live creates many of our health problems and it's expensive

At any age, these simple tips will help your boost and promote your natural beauty.

  1. Eat healthy fats and lots of fruits and vegetables.
  2. Avoid refined and processed foods as well as excessive sugar consumption.
  3. Drink at least two litres of water a day.
  4. Drink less coffee.
  5. Avoid binge-drinking and excessive alcohol consumption.
  6. Use natural products like olive oil, honey, lemon and avocado to treat and improve your skin.
  7. Undertake a regular but simple beauty routine that involves daily cleansing and moisturising as well as weekly exfoliation and facial masks.
  8. Get a good night’s sleep.
  9. Exercise daily for at least 30 minutes.
  10. Stress less by smiling more. It's a bit fake it till you make it, but it works!

At least do this

If you do nothing else on this list, drink more water.  Water is the most important thing to your overall health - circulation, skin, excretion, digestion, energy and brain function.

While there is a lot of debate about the value of drinking excessive amounts of water, it is clear that our bodies need a couple of litres daily to function most effectively. Drinking water also offsets a couple of habits people find hard to shake - alcohol and caffeine.  Alcohol and coffee are diuretics which means they promote the production of urine. For each drink, you will lose up to four times the amount. Match your drinks at least one for one, or two if you can.

Good food is more valuable than exercise

Daily exercise will definitely help you look healthier as you are physically fitter. But exercise must be coupled with an improved diet is far more important to overall health than exercise alone. Take care of your body and you can improve your exterior appearance without picking up a drop of make up or beauty products.
