Hazardous Cleaning Products

Steer clear of hazardous cleaning product ingredients

Many deep cleaning products contain chemicals that are harmful, such as formaldehyde (considered a carcinogen by the WHO), chloroform (found in chlorine bleach) or Triclosan (found in some deodorants, toothpaste and antibacterial soaps) which has been linked with a number of health problems.

It’s a common misconception that you need harsh, chemical based cleaning products to get the job done. There are many natural based cleansers that can bring exactly the same results. Eco-friendly products are also safer and homemade cleaning recipes are often cheaper than the store bought equivalent.

Helping offer local cleaners in Australia and around the world. We are very conscious of the personal and planetary health impacts of cleaning products as our cleaners work with them all day long. And if you employ your own home cleaner, you can request that they only use eco-friendly products. Or if you provide the cleaning products yourself, you can ensure they only use products that aren’t harmful to the environment.
