Welcome to The Yurt Alpine Retreat

The Yurt Alpine Retreat allows you to explore and enjoy what nature has given us - natural bushland, fantastic panoramic views of the Myrrhee and King Valleys and amazing walks along the top of the mountain ridge. You can even catch a glimpse of the resident eagle hovering above and if you are really lucky, you might even see a white deer.

We also offer other activities such as cycling, water rafting, horse riding and snow and water skiing. We promote eco-tourism and we ensure that people would enjoy the peace and serenity of our retreat.

Our facilities include a solar powered car fridge and a large battery operated fan for the warmer months. Within 20 minutes drive of the yurt, gourmet restaurants and wineries can be spotted.

The Yurt Alpine Retreat is owned and run by John and Sharon Jarrott. We are located in 234 Evans Lane Myrrhee, Victoria and we also raise sheep, cattle and have a 20 acre vineyard and 345 hectare farm.
