Welcome to The Australian Earth Laws Alliance (AELA)

The Australian Earth Laws Alliance (AELA) advocates for Earth centred law, governance and ethics.

We carry out research, education, promotional and activist work to empower human societies to live within their ecological limits, respect the rights of nature and take delight in productive, sustainable economies.

We work with indigenous community leaders, lawyers, economists, scientists, deep ecologists, artists and community development practitioners - all committed volunteers whose mission is to increase the understanding and practical implementation of Earth jurisprudence.

We encourage everyone to support the integrity and health of the Earth by rethinking our legal, political, economic and governance systems.

Australian Earth Laws Alliance (AELA) was created in early 2012 and is a national not-for-profit organisation.
