Welcome to Pedal Brisbane

Pedal was started by Ciara Denham and Mara Quinn - two friends who are both passionate environmentalists, in the hopes to revive the cycling culture in Brisbane. What began as a one night multi-arts event in November 2013, has become an annual event that welcomes everyone who has a passion for short-films cinema, photography, music, food, and bicycles.

In 2015, Pedal, in partnership with and the Asia-Pacific Cycle Congress held a 7 day fringe festival, from 11 – 18 September, in different locations.

One of the highlights of this year’s event is Bicycles Welcome Here is a 2-month campaign, Instagram photography competition.
