Tried this recipe and it was great - I didn't use a whisk though, just used a fork to mix it and it worked fine. I have heard good things about green tripe as a natural treat and putting it in your dog's food. Does anyone have any experience with it? And is it possible to get organic green tripe? Yoghurt is both high in calcium and protein which is beneficial for your dog. Yoghurt can also help improve your dog’s digestive system. If you don’t know this already, peanut butter is a favourite treat to many dogs. It’s fantastic to hear that it is also healthy for them as well. Peanut butter contains protein, healthy fats, vitamin B and vitamin E. Honey not only goes down well with dogs but it also said to be a health medicine. Honey is said to be help fight infections and heal wounds.
If you need to give your dog any tablets and are struggling to do so, peanut butter may be the trick. First give your dog some peanut butter by itself, either off your finger or in their food bowl. Then, cover the tablet in peanut butter and feed it to your dog. Having had the peanut butter first they are happy to have it the second time without being too wary about it.
