Science Notes

Essential oils are natural concentrated extracts of herbs, leaves, bark or flowers. They can be used as a relaxation method, either in an oil burner or a few drops in a facial steamer. They can also be used in body care regimes as they can rejuvenate dry skin, treat sunburns and wounds and are added to masks, moisturisers and cleansers.

Essential oils are also used extensively as green cleaning agents.
