Bespoke handcrafted wooden box set of artisanal watercolours in handmade ceramic paint pots.

This box is made from Tasmanian oak and is finished with a dark natural stain, vintage style tacks and a hand dug Australian smokey quartz crystal is attached for the handle. The paint pans are handmade out of a white clay with splashes of pink purple and blue.

This paint collection is called ‘wildflower’ and is inspired by warm wildflower meadows. For the dreamers, the creatives who long for nature and the sun on their skin. The collection contains 10 intentionally handcrafted vegan colours for you. All the pigments used are artist quality signature blends exclusive to Ruco. Most of the paints have a granulating quality and some shimmer and some separate.

The colours in this collection are called Dust, Calendula, Daisy, Enchanted, Alchemy, Meadow, Belle, Wilde, Aurora and Lilac. A name card is included in each set.

The box also features a recycled brush cloth, a beautiful swatching card & a small glass vial of gold leaf which you can add to artwork, enjoy in your box or use to style photographs of your art.

Crafted by me (and my family) lovingly in our studio in Brunswick Heads, these very limited sets were made with the intention to inspire the creativity within you. They are about more then just painting. They are made with the idea that you can reuse each element. The pans can be washed and refilled with paint when they’re empty and the box can be used for anything you like if you remove the pans (they are not permanently fixed in place). Like a tiny handcrafted treasure box for artists.

These sets are for artists who appreciate their tools and know that the process should be as enjoyable and beautiful as the result.

The packaging is recyclable and often compostable. Our marketing materials are printed on recycled card and the included swatching card is recycled handmade cotton rag paper.

These are a completely handmade and crafted item in every aspect (box, pans and paint) and thus do have imperfections. While every care is taken over their creation they are still made by a person and not a factory. The imperfections are considered to add to their value and are not considered a flaw or fault of the product. Please keep this in mind when purchasing.
