One Tree Per Child’s mission is to have every child plant one tree as part of a primary school activity.

We work in collaboration with councils, schools, and local tree planting groups to organize tree planting events where children can experience first-hand and discover the joy in caring for the environment.

Founded by Olivia Newton-John and Jon Dee, One Tree Per Child was launched in February 2015 in the English city of Bristol. With the help of hundreds of thousands of children, we have already planted over 10 million native trees and shrubs across Australia.
