Bush Heritage Australia

Bush Heritage Australia is an independent not-for-profit that buys and manages land, and also partners with Aboriginal people, to conserve magnificent Australian landscapes and irreplaceable native species forever. They focus work on priority landscapes, which are areas selected on the basis of national biodiversity priorities, location of existing reserves, and opportunities for strategic partnerships. Today, Bush Heritage works across 11.3 million hectares of land. Their reserves and partnerships protect threatened ecosystems and 6,700 species of plants and animals, including at least 226 threatened species.
