Welcome to Foodies and Farmers Market Peakhurst
The Krisari Farmers Market has been operating for 40 years. The Director, Christina Chakos, started her career in the late 1990s as a stallholder at markets. She operated in fresh produce, organic bread, seafood, coffee, and French patisserie. These stalls were held at markets all over Sydney including: Bondi Junction, Orange Grove, Warwick Farm, Glenorie, Parramatta, the Entertainment Quarter, and Marrickville.
After years of market involvement, Christina turned her attention to becoming a market organiser. Christina, along with her family, are now one of the most sought-after Market Operators in Sydney.
With three successful markets: Ramsgate, Peakhurst, and Canterbury, the business continues to grow and has now incorporated pop-up markets and events for local councils, local developments, and hotels/precincts across Sydney.
